Biography
“I thrive on variety in life. I am equally comfortable working quietly in my fully equipped cabinetmaking shop at home, as I am in a busy courtroom.”
Called to the Bar in 1980, Keith represents taxpayers challenging adverse tax reassessments.
He has appeared on numerous occasions before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Supreme Courts of many other Provinces, on a wide-range of income tax, Provincial Sales Tax, and GST/HST matters.
Keith has represented a wide variety of private and public sector clients and, in addition, has represented CPA Plan on behalf of Chartered Professional Accountants across Canada in a wide variety of professional liability matters for over thirty years.
Keith obtained his BA from Huron University College, received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa Law School and was called to the Bar in 1980.
Over the past forty-two years, Keith has been involved in numerous community organizations, including, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Silken’s Active Kids Movement. In addition, Keith is currently the Chair of the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation, Chair of the GoodLife Kids Foundation, a Member of the Scouts Canada National Review Board, and a Director of Unsinkable, a National Not for Profit story-sharing platform hosted by four-time Olympian, Silken Laumann.
