Biography

Adelaide is an associate lawyer with McKenzie Lake’s commercial litigation group. She maintains a broad practice and assists with a variety of matters including contract, construction, and property disputes. She also maintains an expanding employment practice.
Adelaide was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2023. She brings valuable, practical experience to her role from her time summering and articling with a national full-service law firm. Adelaide is delighted to now be practising law in her hometown of Guelph.
Adelaide received her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University, which she attended on an entrance scholarship. As a law student, she interned at a major research hospital in Toronto where she developed educational legal resources for patients and staff. Adelaide also completed a placement with Legal Aid’s Youth Justice division in Halifax where she conducted legal research in support of court submissions.
Prior to attending law school, Adelaide graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto where she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Studies and Equity Studies (double-major).
Outside of the office, Adelaide enjoys bouldering, which has taken her to numerous outdoor climbing destinations around the world, and spending time with her friends and loved ones.
