Biography
Meagan is a legal intern participating in the articling program at McKenzie Lake, having joined as a summer student in 2023.
Meagan completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Western University in 2020. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Meagan completed the Integrated Practice Curriculum at Lincoln Alexander, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
During law school, Meagan was a keen moot competitor, winning the preliminary round of the Hicks Morely Moot, and taking 1st place with her team at the Walsh Family Law Moot. She also worked with the Refugee Law Office, providing assistance to clients with refugee claims, and with Neighbourhood Legal Services (both London and Toronto), where she gained broad litigation experience at both the Landlord and Tenant Board and Social Benefits Tribunal.
In her spare time, Meagan enjoys travelling, crocheting, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
