Wincy is an associate in the business and real estate groups at McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP. She maintains a broad practice and assists in a variety of matters including real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, secured lending transactions, and corporate governance.
Wincy was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2022. She brings valuable practice experience to her role from positions at the firm as both a summer and articling student. During her time in law school at Western University, Wincy worked as a research assistant for Richard H. McLaren. She assisted Professor McLaren with his sports, commercial, and labour arbitrations and updated his publications, including the Canadian Commercial Reorganisations: Avoiding Bankruptcy, Secured Transactions in Personal Property in Canada, and the Ontario Annotated Personal Property Security Act. Prior to attending law school, Wincy obtained an Honors Specialization degree in Political Science from Western University.
Wincy is conversational in Cantonese. Outside of the office, Wincy enjoys travelling and spending quality time with friends and family.
