On May 6, 2021, a proposed class action was commenced in Ontario (Court File Number CV-21-00000844-00CP) against Ford Motor Company and Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd., alleging the burn-off/consumption of abnormally high amounts of oil for certain 2018-2020 Ford F-150 vehicles equipped with the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 “Coyote” engine (the “Claim”).
On December 14, 2022, the parties reached an agreement to discontinue the Claim. The discontinuance was approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
