McLaren Works to Clean Up the Olympics
Following the exposure of numerous positive drug tests by Richard McLaren, the International Olympic Committee banned seven Russian swimmers from competing at the Rio Olympic Games. The McLaren Report included 577 positive sample screenings from Russian athletes, and although the majority of them were held back by lab workers, McLaren’s work has triggered further investigations in the hopes of keeping the Olympics clean.
McLaren, a McKenzie Lake lawyer, and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will continue to investigate this case further. To see more information about this case, visit this article.
